What is an Inspection Window in real estate?

The Inspection Window is the amount of time (defined in the Purchase And Sale Agreement) that a Buyer has to complete a home inspection of the Seller's real property. If the inspection deadline ends and the Buyer has not conducted the inspection and notified the Seller of defects that they need to be resolved either through repair or concession (i.e. reduction of price), then the Buyer's right to terminate the contract expires and they are expected to perform in their role as Buyer and close on the transaction.
