Who pays for staging a house?
Wondering who pays for staging a house -- the seller or the agent?
It depends. Some agents will pay for a portion of staging costs, other agents will not. In rare cases the agent will pay for all staging costs.
Before you go ahead staging your house there are a few important things we think you should know:
- Staging consultation fees can run between $250 and $500
- Staging fees can run from $400 to $600 per room per month
- Virtual staging costs less than $25 per photo!
Traditional staging will cost roughly $2,000 - $2,500 per month for a 2,000 Sq Ft property. So, if you're like us and you believe unnecessary costs should be eliminated from the real estate transactions, you may want to opt for virtual staging or no staging.
